I could get behind this, but I have not read enough to know; can the stone men talk? They seemed very zombie-like in the episode.

Well, both Shireen and Jorah talk and they both have a bit of the greyscale, though not much (yet for Jorah).

Though I don't think the Stone Men will be any great source of secrets or magic. There may be a chance that the greyscale protects against Dragon Fire or WW weapons or something like that (or that maybe dragon fire or the ice weapons affect the greyscale some way) but I think it's not a very great chance.

So, knowing that Stannis will now light his own daughter on fire for King's Blood, what does that mean for Theon and Asha? Asha has requested a beheading, but fat chance Stannis does that. I think Theon has a bit left to his arc besides just saving "Arya". Will Theon and Asha make some sort of escape, since she too will likely see the fire once Stannis needs more King's Blood. Shireen would be the final one he would consider, but he's clearly going to do it.

That's my guess. I think that the Boltons (or maybe Ramsey like on the show) could attack Stannis' army and do some serious damage, and in that confusion Theon and Asha might escape. And then Stannis will be "forced" to make the sacrifice since his army will be in shambles.

I definitely feel they are connected with another player, I just can't decide who. Only real possibilities are the High Septon or an outside force. Would be about par for the course if they were a secret order that called the White Walkers when humanity learned too much magic. The keepers of the sacred reset button if you will.

The White Walkers and the Long Winter predate the Andals arriving to Westeros.

I thought they were just men with greyscale all over so they were sent to Valyria to live out their days instead of spreading the disease. I would think they could speak but they are just not kind to outsiders. If Dany comes flying into Valyria on Drogon's back, they might see her as coming home instead of an outsider and take to her like the slaves did.

In the book, the stone men weren't sent to Valyria. They inhabited one of the ruined cities along the Rhoyne that had been destroyed by the Dothraki centuries before.

Also, they only go mad once the disease progresses past a certain point. Sherreen, Jorah, nor Connington haven't gotten there yet

It will be interesting to see how wights and someone insane with greyscale react to one another. I don't see any reason to think that someone with greyscale is immune to becoming a wight. Would they still be infectious, though?

I mainly said this in jest, but it's not like some evil Greenseer couldn't have chosen and corrupted a few men to carry on his work. This is too "duh duh duhhhhh" for GRRM IMO though.

I hope the show doesn't pull that.

I'm not Convinced that GRRM ordered the hit on Shireen until I read it in the print.

Since you have doubts abour R'hllor, what is your take or whether the triarch Belicho is resurrected? Or his fame deflated?

Has the Grand Northern Conspiracy been discussed here ? Probably, but I'm just stumbling upon it and wanted to share if anyone hasn't read it. Pretty good

LINK

I also enjoy the high sparrow = Howland Reed theory

The Grand Northern Conspiracy is.

Reed being the High Sparrow is not.

I now it's too much work at this point, but in a perfect world the OP would have links to where the theories discussion point is, atleast a specific page number
