exactly. This axe from that picture was intimidating and awesome at the same time. The axe from the show is too shiny and blingy. That's all nice but it gives the impression that it's never been used before which hurts the character because he was a bad arse.

I'm going to hold off judgement on show Hotah... If they could pull off Obyren the way they did, I look forward to how the play Hotah.

Is it confirmed that Jon is going to the wilding village early in the season? I would think that is why they would feel the need to make up a big battle against the Others. Because there really is no big battle in these last two books.
I guess they could have all the shite hit the fan in Mereen in ep 9.
So is the Dornish prince going to Mereen getting cut? I assumed it would be since it really didn't affect the story either way.

I agree. The axe looks like it belongs on a wall instead of the skull of Hotah's opponent.
Edit: The axe should look different than the rest of the Dorne weapons because he is from Norvos.

Yeah, in addition to being shiny, his axe had rubies and sapphires. His uniform is all perfectly pressed, bright, and clean. Maybe they're writing him to be a gay character.
