I just don't see Cercei regaining power. Not saying it's not possible but I think it's highly unlikely that she does. Zombie Mountain could beat Zombie Hound but I think it's fulfills the Clegane's story if Zombie Hound kills Zombie mountain for what he done to his face. That or they kill each other much like Mountain vs Red Viper.

Personally I think that the UnGregor is going to greatly work against the Realm at large. I think he'll easily be taken over by the Others once he heads South. The Hound will kill him in open battle at the Trident, not when Cersei faces trial.

Who will fight him at the trial?

I definitely think it's plausible for Cersei to gain power again. I don't think her naked walk is her downfall and it's over

Lancel, shortest fight in history.

I think Loras will fight Ungregor. It would satisfy Loras' story arc and conclude their skirmish that began at Ned's tourney.

Another guess that I think would be awesome is if it was one or all of the Sand Snakes

I'd say that her walk of shame will become her "Defiance at Duskendale". Yeah, she's docile now due to the shock of the situation, but when she finds out about what happened to Kevan and Pycelle, she's going to fire up quickly and with no restraint. She showed everything about her to every high born and low born scum in King's Landing, so she won't give a frick about manipulation anymore. She'll have just UnGregor and Qyburn (maybe even adding a pyromancer to her merry crew), and anyone who thinks of defying her will have to answer to one or the other. Top it off that she'll be in doubt to whether it was Tyrion, the Tyrells, or both that killed her uncle and Grand Maester, then she's going to go nuts and forcibly take over.

Oh ok makes a lot of sense did some googling of it. Was confusing Gregor with Sandor when I originally read it.

On a show rewatch and I can't help but wonder how Tywin's doesn't recognize Arya. I get why they did it differently in the show cause wow it is great television. But surely Tywin would recognize how much Arya resembles Ned and Lyanna

Tywin had never seen Arya before and as far as the show goes she looks nothing like Ned and we have no clue what Lyanna looked like.

Why? First off I don't think Tywin ever met Lyanna, and secondly, can you point blank identify any daughter of any person you've met? I don't think that Ned and Tywin met each other for long. Only at the Sack, probably Robert's Wedding, and the Invasion of Pike. Should he be able to instantly recognize his daughter? If anything, Roose should have been more familiar with her than Tywin would have.

Agreed. There's no way that Tywin knew she was Arya Stark. He didn't go to Winterfell with the rest of the Lannister Baratheon crew and he wasn't in King's Landing until Blackwater. And as you said, he probably met Ned 3-4 times over the span of 15 years.

It just seemed like they were stretching it a little bit. Tywin was a very smart man and I wouldn't think something like that would slip by him. Especially with him quizzing her and making her admit that she knew more than she let on. And that she was highborn and all too

I also wonder if LF doesn't recognize her when he visits

I bet if your best friend in the entire world had a child, and you went 15 years without seeing him, and he was dead, you wouldn't think twice about a 9 year old girl being your servant who looks somewhat like your old friend. It's not as if Arya is a spitting image and personality of Ned. Top it off with the fact that Ned and Tywin have spent as little time as they could possibly stand of each other, and it makes it highly plausible. Trust me, if you weren't looking for it, I doubt you could show me your best friend's daughter that you've never met.

He recognized her, as he saw her in King's Landing. It's not Ned's personality and looks though that made him aware of her. Littlefinger said as much to Sansa.

I've been rewatching all 3 seasons and finished Season 2 last week, so all of this is fresh in my memory. Littlefinger definitely knew it was Arya but was saving that little piece of info for the right moment. He wasn't going to rat her out right then and there to Tywin. Tywin definitely knew she was a highborn because she pronounced "my-lord" as "my lord" rather than "milord" as the commoners say. Plus she knew how to write and read and knew the Targ histories. Tywin even commented that he didn't know "Stonemasons could read so well" but then Arya backtracked and said that she served under Lady Dustin. I'm sure Tywin saw through the bullshite but never probed/interrogated her further about it. But he definitely didn't know she was a Stark, otherwise he would've taken her back to King's Landing and held her hostage with Sansa.

Yeah - the my lord / m'lord dialogue was between Roose and Theon in the book. Good use of it by the show.

BTW - I had the impression Tywin suspects Arya, but answers to his inquiries satisfied him she wasn't. Big big respect for Arya fooling the king lion - a quick study to the game.

There's no way Tywin doesn't know another Stark girl is missing and surely he's keeping an eye out for her. And didn't Tywin see Lyanna at the Harrenhal Tourney? Wasn't he still HOK at that time?

Damn it's good to see the crack flowing again!

I don't Tywin was at the tourney. I think they mentioned at one point that he didn't go out of protest, but that he allowed Jamie to go.
