The priest he's with said it can be mastered with blood and fire. That's obviously open ended. I think ol' Morroqo isn't telling the whole translation and intends to take it for himself. BTW I saw you live in the Nasty Natti. Spent many a weekend at Bogarts there.

Yeah I gathered that Morroqo is kinda suspect. Victorian tells him to leave the horn with him. Morroqo's too easy with bein commanded. He just says okay. I can't stand yes men

I do live in the Nat. From Crowley La, but I've lived here since 04. ain't nothing special for sure haha

Prayers sent.

Honestly, I haven't been up to Cinci in a few years. Went up there for a Cinci/UofL game with an ex. I do want to get to Great American Ballpark sometime.

Oh and I was thinking about unGregor. What if he's really FrankenGregor. Like his head is no longer HIS head but random parts of others that Qyburn has collected in his "experiments".

GABP is pretty cool. I'm a Cubs fan, but I go to the Reds game and cheer em.

I said that earlier in the thread bout if he didn't have a head how can he see. I think it may have been Cotton that shot me down and said it wasn't Gregor's skull that was sent to Dorne but another one. I read it as his friggin head was gone, but that could of been just my thoughts. In MY HEAD , I feel like whoever he fights is gonna knock off his helm off and he will keep fighting them headless

I don't think it's gone per se. And I agree with Cotton that he's not at headless. They'd have a hard time finding an appropriate sized skull that would be like his to send but it's not impossible.

Just the more I think about it the more I think it's FrankenGregor.

I think it is absolutely FrankenGregor. I just started rereading the series and during Bran's dream, right before he wakes up from his coma, he sees a bunch of shite that is going on in the world/going to happen.

One of them mentions a knight with the face of a dog (the hound), a knight adorned in armored that is golden like the sun (jaime) and a giant adorned in stone armor and when he opened his helmet there was nothing but darkness and dried blood. (FrankenGregor).

Now i'm not sure what the Jaime reference is about but I am positive the giant in stone armor is FrankenGregor.

ETA: Here is the actual text from what i'm talking about
quote:

There were shadows all around them. One shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood

Upon my re-reading of GOT, I've decided that Hooded Man = Hallis Mollen. He replaced Jory as the head of the House guard and was sent to bring Ned's bones back to Winterfell. This puts him in the vicinity of Winterfell, and he would definitely know Theon. He would also have great cause to being murdering usurpers. I know this isn't exactly a sexy theory, but it would make sense.

Very nice! That is a great theory. I'm rereading GOT right now as well. Makes a lot of sense.

I'm absolutely convinced it's a Stark supporter so that fits for me as well.

If this has been discussed in the past 57 pages, let me know, but let's talk about Dany's next move. What does everyone think will happen with the khalasar that just confronted her? Are they her new army that will crush the Yunkai?

This thougth went through my mind recently. The whole thing about sun setting in the east, seas drying up, etc was about Drogo returning. What if Drogo returning simply means his khalasar returning. Only when all those things happen will Dany's "Drogo life" return. Now that the Dothraki sea has dried, Qwentyn died in the east, the Mereen Pyramids turing to dust, and other things, she will become the Westeros driven woman she was at the beginning of the series. Now she will get her arse moving.

That is pretty clever. I really like the idea. A Stark should always defend Winterfell.

For the sake of exploring other A Ghost in Winterfell theories:

Hooded Man = Theon's Split Personality

Clues:

> Just before meeting the Hooded Man, "He finds himself alone in a white wilderness..."
> "...face-to-face their eyes met briefly." Theon often described as avoiding eye contact.
> "The man put his hand on his dagger." Notice he didn't put his hand on his sword. And Theon is allowed to carry a dagger.
> "Oddly, he was not afraid." Theon is often described a afraid when other talk to him.
> "He pulled the glove off his left hand". This is not like Reek. On the next page Lady Dustin orders him to take off his glove. "Theon glanced up sharply, 'Please, no. I...I...'" Yet he readily took it off for the Hooded Man.
> The parting sentence - The man looked, and laughed. "I {Theon} leave you {Reek} to him {Bolton}, then."

Theon's POV will be a tragic one as he descends into madness.

I've definitely thought of this. I see this as a very real possibility.

Probably my favorite theory.

I think it is definitely a very high possibility that this is indeed Theon that he speaks with. Would explain a lot. Theon also remarks that in one of his POVs that he can still hold a dagger.... He is still physically capable of these acts.

Infinite possibilities. But I do agree with the above in part.

I actually think that Victarion will blow the horn, and the dragons will destroy much of the Yunkai army, allies, and/or possibly their fleet(s).

Khal Jhaqo gives Dany an army to leave behind and protect Meereen.

Now that Martin has tied the Meereenese Knot, how will he untie it? By that I mean, how does Martin get Dany headed towards Westeros? I think the answer lies within the cast of characters that make up the Knot: Tyrion, Aegon, Victarion, Marywn and Quentyn Martell.

Aegon (for now) and Quentyn are taken care of.

Tyrion, Jorah, and Plumm rescue Daario. (Treason for love?)

Victarion gives her a fleet.

And Marywn gives Dany a reason to leave: the knowledge to tame the dragons.

My only issue with Theon as the Hooded Man is that the Hooded Man calls him kinslayer. We know he hasn't slayed any "kin" because he let Bran and Rickon live.

It's a cool theory but it just doesn't add up for me.

This is actually a point for the split identity theory for me. Even if he did kill Bran and Rickon, that still wouldn't make him a kinslayer in the eyes of others. If this was his inner monologue, he could feel guilty for everything he did to the Stark family. His actions were a large part of the downfall of Robb. This could be him finally voicing through his thoughts that the Starks were his "kin".

But he does know that he killed Maester Luwin and all the other occupants of Winterfell... The other members of his adoptive family who treated him just as they treated the Starks.

He also has to think that Bran and Rickon are dead... As far as he knows they are out in the northern winter alone and wandering. He didn't bring Robb the help Robb needed, the help that could've kept Robb alive.

He feels like he killed them in the back of his mind... In Theon's mind. Reek is making excuses but Theon knows.
