I doubt that is a sprain if he is in a boot. Bone on top of foot broken or something with the achilles. Poor Jets can't catch a break with QBs

Achilles tear. Had it happen years ago. Very painful. You don't come back for many months, if not years, from that.

It’s usually 9 months (I work in orthopedics). It’s a shitty injury but one you can rebound from.
