Peyton and Eli Manning had a similar reaction, as we all did, when Aaron Rodgers went down with an ankle injury four plays into last night's opener against the Bills...

Ya know, ya gotta think, what were all of the moving parts in the universe and in the soul of Rodgers that had to come together for this to happen...and why? What were the other probable outcomes for this night that just missed? That's a shame.

Achilles tear. Had it happen years ago. Very painful. You don't come back for many months, if not years, from that.

It’s usually 9 months (I work in orthopedics). It’s a shitty injury but one you can rebound from.

I doubt that is a sprain if he is in a boot. Bone on top of foot broken or something with the achilles. Poor Jets can't catch a break with QBs
