They are a commuter school, comprised of those who could not afford to stay away from home for school. They have trouble filling the stands for a home game, when undefeated, with national name coaches.

Birmingham, AL... have any of you ever parked near the stadium in the surrounding neighborhoods for a game? I have. Not good.

Not surprised at all. After having a pretty good season they get rewarded with having to play in Birmingham.

Pretty clear evidence that the proliferation of bowl games has exceeded fan interest. USF barely has a football culture to begin with. Why would anyone expect that they'd travel to fricking Birmingham for a game played two days before Christmas?

Why they thought ANYONE in their right mind would leave s Florida to go to Birmingham fricking Alabama, is very confusing

Yeah. Traveling from Alabama ALL THE WAY to Florida, is way too much to ask of a fan base.
