Sacramento Kings star Zach Randolph Arrested For Possession Of Marijuana With Intent To Sell
Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports
Sacramento Kings star Zach Randolph was arrested in L.A. on Wednesday night after a crazy disturbance required cops to call in the cavalry for backup. The arrest was for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Wow...
quote:

LAPD officers were called to the Nickerson Gardens area in L.A. around 10 PM -- and when they arrived, cops found a large crowd of people smoking, playing loud music and blocking the roadway.

Law enforcement sources tell us 3 people were seen grabbing their waistbands and running -- so cops went after them.

Three people were detained -- including Randolph, who was eventually arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, A FELONY. We're told the "intent to sell" part was due to the large amount of weed found.

I'm not connecting why grabbing the waistband is significant? Was that a byproduct of those carrying MJ were the ones who ran, without the aid of properly supportive trousers?

Typically police consider going to the waistband as a move to grab a firearm.

I am not condoning what he did at all, it is no doubt dumb... But because he just signed a $24 mil contract, he can afford the legal defense team that will have the charges reduced. The intent to distribution charge won't stick, it will end up a misdemeanor, he will get a slap on the wrist from the NBA, and this will all be a non-issue in about 2 months when the season starts.

Highly exposed NBA notable who just signed a 24 mil contract. I've seen some dumb shite in my time, but this guy has reached troglodyte status. Don't waste tax money on prison for this cat, just let him live out the rest of his days up in the mountains somewhere, sustaining himself on nuts and berries, where he can't be a bother to himself or others.
