CBS Sports is reporting that former LSU head coach Les Miles is a candidate for the Baylor job.

Baylor is looking for a full-time replacement for Art Briles who was fired on May 26, 2016 in the wake of revelations of misconduct by Baylor football players.

Les Miles is officially a candidate at Baylor.

While the name of the former LSU coach has been attached to the opening in the past, multiple sources have indicated to CBS Sports that Miles is indeed in the mix.

Miles himself told CBS Sports he is willing to listen about any Power Five job.

"I'm making myself available to search firms," Miles said. "I'm communicating the best I can."

This might be more about than X's & O's. That cesspool needs a good man with experience to help clean it up and move forward.

Baylor wide receivers are probably already on the phone with other teams.

I'd prefer to see Les go to work further away from Louisiana and our recruiting area.

Would be a great hire for a school in need of a image makeover. Les would be great there.

baylor is a Christian school with that has a fan base that values character alot. Les would be a welcome change to create a family environment of family and get away from the issues that are dragging that team down. baylor has plenty of money too

Baylor fans will be hanging themselfs from the bleachers watching Miles' offense.

I don't think he'd do bad there really. He's shown the ability to really shut down gimmicky offenses which the big 12 is loaded with more than others.

They'll be shocked at the lack of passing after the offenses they've had there

Les says he is "communicated the best (he) can". It doesn't bode well for him. But he deserves a chance somewhere else. I wish him the best! Unless, of course, if/when he finds himself as a head coach on the opposite sideline for an LSU game.

"I'm communicating the best I can"... Trying to give the impression he has so many knocks at the door that he doesn't have time to talk to all of his suitors.

And the impression that he can communicate effectively using the English language

I'm pulling for Les wherever he goes, but Baylor fans are probably exhibiting a degree of consternation about what a Miles offense might look like, given their recent success on that side of the ball. I will be watching with much interest.

It's very sad Les did not evolve with the game. Hence, it has passed him by. Maybe his firing is the '2x4 upside the head' that was needed to make him take a long look in the mirror. Hoping for the best!

I think that would be a perfect place for Les. If he can develop his offense, he'll do well.

Les will be a good change for Baylor, high character. Now his offense compared to what they have done, bears better get ready for some good ole fashion power football. Lot of great running backs in Texas

He's always had solid offenses and has shut down ooc opponents who had high powered offense. He does need to have a great offensive coordinator if he were to get hired
