LSU senior outside linebacker Corey Thompson returned to practice on Tuesday for the first time since suffering an ankle injury during fall camp. Per The Advocate:

Thompson, a senior from Texas, participated in drills in normal uniform. He did not don a gold non-contact jersey, a sign of good health. His status for this week's game against Southern Miss is unclear.
