LSU's Les Miles is the seventh highest paid college football head coach, according to the annual NCAA football coaches salary database published by USA Today.

Miles makes $4.3 million in salary from the school and added an additional $69,582 in "other pay" according to the report.

Alabama head coach Nick Saban is at the top of the list with a total salary of $7,160,187. The only other SEC coach ahead of Miles besides Saban is Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin with a total salary of $5,006,000.

As much as people will complain about this fact. Imagine what fans of Iowa, A&M, and even Michigan State to a certain extent are feeling.

That never crossed my mind. I didn't even know James Franklin is black. It struck me because of their newness to the scene, not being as established as the other coaches.

some of those stick out as just odd. Penn State, Texas, and TAMU in particular. I can at least understand the rest due to how long they have been there.
