Mettenberger played at LSU from 2011-2013, followed by three seasons in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans, San Diego Chargers, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

He began his coaching career as an offensive coordinator at Hillsboro High School from 2020-2021 and was an assistant head coach at Father Ryan in 2021.

He was an analyst on Nick Saban's staff from 2022-2023.

What's with the tats?

When you go through the life he lived, some people don’t know how to use words so they get tats. His college life, then nfl, his dad committed suicide… it’s a lot.

Congrats! Will never forget when you had to crawl off the field against Bama bc Les refused to recruit offensive tackles !

Mett had two NFL-caliber OTs starting in that 2013 loss to Alabama: La'el Collins and Jerald Hawkins.

I remember that. Don’t drink don’t drive do the Mettenberger crawl.

The SEC has the top four teams in the country in NCAA Baseball rankings, with no mention in "around the SEC," but a former LSU player getting a job as an assistant coach at a HIGH SCHOOL rates a spot?

Just "wow."

Damn, he had an analyst role at Bama and got booted with new coach and now a HS coach. That's rough.

I always wonder what he would have done with a modern offense.

I loved that kid. He was so scrappy. Played up to the talent of his receivers when here and was very tough. Congrats to him for finding a way to stay in football.

At least the high school colors include purple. I would have hated to see him wear a crimson shirt hanging out with sabab

Godd@mn, people are still triggered by Tattoos in 2024?
user avatar
Revorising30 days
No -just tats that look like a 3rd grade artist used an 8 ct box of crayola markers.

So, if someone doesn't like tattoos then that means they are triggered?

Seems like you are triggered because many people think tattoos are trashy.

There's a lot things I dont like or care for... but I dont go out my way to cry about it. Especially if it doesn't have nothing to do with me. In this case, wish him well and keep scrolling. What somebody else eats doesn't make me sh*t.

Remember playing Father Ryan when I was a defensive end for Christian Brothers in the 1977 state semi finals. Good team then, would expect them to still be sokid.
