There has been a lot of buzz this week about the idea of former LSU teammates Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. reuniting on the Cleveland Browns.

Landry, who was traded to Cleveland this offseason, recently told local Ohio reporters that Beckham Jr. would "definitely'' want to play for the Browns. Per Cleveland.com:

"If things like that are able to happen and the team can make it happen, then why not?'' Landry said of the Browns and Beckham in the aftermath of the Corey Coleman trade to Buffalo. "He definitely would be (up for it). He would be.''

Landry indicated that Beckham, one of his best friends in the league, has told him he'd want to play for the Browns.

"We've had talks,'' he said with a smile, "but at the end of the day, I want him to be happy. I want him to get what he deserves and you can't put nothing on that regardless of where it's at.

Per ESPN:

Beckham, who is entering the last season of his rookie deal, has been seeking a contract extension from the Giants. Beckham's agent, Zeke Sandhu, left the New York area on Monday with no deal in place after face-to-face meetings with the team last week, a source told ESPN's Josina Anderson.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens but that LSU WR combo would be dangerous to opposing DB's.

Well, somebody needs to get Beckham's mind right and he definitely hasn't handled the NY spotlight very well.

What makes them great together is the way they compliment each other and open the field up when a defense tries to take one of them away, Beckham deep or Landry over the middle.

Everytime I think about us having that duo with Mett, and Jeremy Hill and the studs on defense it just pisses me off that we didnt win a championship. That roster was stacked.

Yep, kill a career opposite another top 10 WR. A capabable QB ready to start and the #1 overall pick waiting in the wings. Also a D that has made moves all over the place. Beckham is a team changing talent himself. If he goes to the Browns then lookout in the future. Don’t think it would happen but it would be wild
