Star LSU pass rusher Arden Key sent out the following tweet on Friday afternoon about "being ahead of schedule" which many believe is about his recovery from recent shoulder surgery.

Earlier this week, head coach Ed Orgeron said that Key would most likely not be ready for the start of fall camp as he continues to rehab after the surgery.

Key's tweet could be good news for everyone.

"On schedule" to me is when he hits the field for a game. I'm sure he will be ready. These "reports" are likely just smoke and mirrors to keep others guessing.

He may say he's ahead of schedule, but expect LSU to be very careful when they finally release him for contact. Fournette coming back too early derailed most of his season last year.
