This just keeps getting better. T Bob was right. Alabama fans are miserable. Either perfection or nothing but pain. On their deathbeds many years from now they won’t remember the national championships. They’ll remember losses like this. You hate to see it.

Almost every company has a social media policy. This guy knew it before he tweeted what he did. Saying this kind of speech is protected is stupid. It is protected in that he can’t be jailed for it, but his employer can absolutely part way with him for being a dumbass

This kind of reaction to shitty speech is itself shitty. Losing one's job over blurting out some stupid crap is absurd.

Plenty of comments just like that from the Gumps on this site yesterday. Quite amazing that they believe running on the field justifies assault.

I don't know this situation but I know how management works. This individual was already on the radar for any number of reasons...poor performance, boorish behavior, insubordination, you name it. This person handed the company a ready made reason to part ways with him. This person also handed the company a great (for many perspectives) public relations opportunity. If you think this person got fired for this act alone, I would suggest you might be TFC!

When you read these kind of stories they seem to always have one thing in common. They always seem to involve Alabama fans. What is it with their fans? They can't handle winning with class and sure as hell don't handle losing with class.
