re: The Final Eight Spots

Posted by tsteen92 on 1/21/15 at 12:01 pm
OP's likely list still way too idealistic, but I like the optimism. I don't think we sign a full class either, but here's my list: In order from most likely to least likely: Arden Key (pretty confident after his official visit that broke the scale) Foster Moreau (already "committed," but he wi...
It's interesting that he goes to the same school as Paris. Like others have posted, I think he may be more interested in LSU than the other way around, but things could have changed recently. I just remember awhile back a bunch of people congratulating for committing to LSU, but no one reported it ...
I know that I don't have many posts and that some of you look at post count to determine validity, but beardkp is absolutely right. At one point in time, we led for Jamal Adams. Something happened that left a bad taste in his mouth...all he would say is that LSU did him wrong. If I had to guess, t...
I've heard that he's started playing a little defense this year, hence the athlete tag; but I'm not positive on that. I think he plays RB too...just seems like a lot of people think he'll end up on defense....
Going off of that, what is the consensus of this board as to what position he will play? And if the consensus is LB, what do yall think about Young now?...
I'm all ears. Wish I hadn't missed the hootie stuff...
At one point, LSU led the way in his recruitment according to him. If you don't believe me, go to his twitter and check out his ask.com or whatever. I'm too lazy to link it. LSU stopped pursuing him for awhile, which led to him having some hard feelings for LSU. I think there is too much ground t...
I asked why Quinn was still rated so low, this is the response I got: Level of competition and stats are factored in, but are a very small part of it. Recruiting rankings are projections and we like where Quinn is projected currently. Now, that's not to say we won't change our minds at the end,...
People on here worry way too much about Alabama. There's only 5 spots left in their class, and it seems much more likely that Alabama lands Marlon Humphrey, Ronnie Clark, and CJ Hampton to fill the remaining spots in the secondary . That's not to say that there couldn't be any attrition, but LSU i...
I've already signed up for the free trial, but for some reason, I can only read the articles. When I go to the message board for tidbits, it still says I need to activate now to read them. Any suggestions?? Thanks ...

re: Bregman's Fielding

Yeah I'm not jumping on him or anything cuz everyone makes errors. I was just noticing his fielding technique, and I think some of those errors are correctable just by staying in front of the ball...

I know he's young, but one of the first things you learn when fielding is to keep the ball in front of you. Even if he just keeps it in front of him but doesn't get the out, the run still doesn't score. I'm not questioning his overall game though....

Really?? Was that necessary? I assure you that I'm just as pissed off as you are that we lost, but I guess you just can't keep your composure...

Bregman's Fielding

Posted by tsteen92 on 6/16/13 at 10:42 pm
Everyone is going to make errors from time to time, but Bregman's tendency to play ground balls off to his side just seems to be so error prone. Anyone know why he doesn't just get himself in front of the ball more often and at least keep it in front of him??...

247 reports Harris as having an Ohio State offer...is it not committable?...

re: WR Question

Posted by tsteen92 on 6/11/13 at 12:58 am
I understand that, but all indications to the fact that he will line up as a WR. He was offered because of his skill at the WR position, and he has said "he plans to compete at the wide receiver position at LSU and work at all three of the (X, Y Z) spots in order to find a home." (per Rivals) Later...

Well there are 3 DJ Chark commits threads but this is a different question; and I thought my question, since it was long, would just get glanced over in the 9 page WR speculation board. Thanks for your input...
