The last few years at KY can't be thrown out however. His record at KY Includes 12/15 years making the NCAA tourney. But, his last 6 years weren't stellar to end the season.
I agree that this can't be overlooked, but it is also the reason that he's the coach at Arkansas now, so a bit...

There's a few outliers like Bielema's record against Freeze and Pittman's record against Kiffin & Leach, but hard to argue Arkansas has had the better head coach in any of these matchups.

Pinkel > Bielema
Odom > Morris
Agreed. Corbin has done an incredible job there. It will be interesting to see if it continues over the next 10 years with the NIL changes..
Less concerned with NIL and more concerned with development at this point. Seems like they've steadily regressed since 2021. ...
Van Horn was a pitching coach only prior to Arkansas
???
Van Horn built Nebraska of all places into a baseball power prior to going to Arkansas. He's been a head coach at various levels for 30+ years.
Could've just done a straight up trade for Muss and saved everyone the headache. That was the only school he could've jumped to where there was no buy out in his contract.

It's really hard to get transfers into Vandy.
I'm pretty sure Vanderbilt also has a significant restriction on the number of transfer credits they will accept. I believe that's why most of the transfers we have seen are grad transfers or freshmen.
I think Jack Anderson (Prin...

Why isn't Yurachek fighting like hell to keep Muss?
A) It's a lost cause.
B) Yurachek wants him gone.
C) Yurachek has his replacement lined up.
D) Yurachek is an idiot.
E) All of the above. ...

I'm a good ways away from paying for college, but I'd take a look at some target date funds to see how they are allocated.

The numbers seem to indicate that the total PPG is inflated based on the non-conference.
Looking at the conference-only offensive PPG, this is the lowest of the Musselman era.
