I have played on a Vox and I own a Dr Z Carmen Ghia which has a very Vox-ish vibe to it. I also owned a Fender Bassman (though it is a different amp from yours). To me, the 6L6 power tubes just sing the blues better than the chimey EL84s....

Slice is good. Try the Prosciutto and Arugula pizza and have them bring you some honey to drizzle on it (per the rec of my last waitress there). It's awesome. ...

Bonamassa is great, but in terms of flat out talent, my favorite guitarist of my generation would have to be Brad Paisley. I don't even like country, but the stuff that man plays is amazing. I love his tone, too...again, for country...
