See lots of KC barbecue joints on here, makes me proud. All of you saying jack stack need to come back to kc and try some other places. Jack stack is fine and dandy, but I rank it second tier for KC. My favorites in KC are Lc's, Danny Edwards BBQ, and Oklahoma Joes. Almost as good: Jack St...

re: best craigslist prank for a friend

Had a teacher prank a friend by putting a CL ad saying that he had to sell all of his hunting and fishing stuff because the lady he was marrying wasn't going to let him keep it. Said he got more calls telling him not to get married than calls interested in the hunting and fishing gear....

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Just haven't been happy with work and life in general. I want to move somewhere new and get things going but I'm worried that I'll fall back into the same rut I was in before and it's just an endless cycle...
I think that's exactly what they are saying though. They have found a link between those crazy actions and an abnormal amount of cortisol in the system...

I'd definitely put another vote in for Kansas City. Metro population of 2.3 million and it takes me 15 minutes to and from work everyday. There are only really 2 places on the highways that jam up in the evening and even then it'll only add 15 minutes or so to the commute...

re: Table Rock Lake

Table Rock is awesome, it has an all rock bottom so the water stays crystal clear. I like it a lot better than Lake of the Ozarks, more laid back and better for a family. ...
You should get an Airedale Terrier 1. They don't shed like labs 2. They are hypoallergenic 3. They are the king of terriers 4. They were initially bred with otter hounds so they love the water 5. Teddy Roosevelt owned airedales 6. If a pit gets squirrely around you the airedale can take them...
True, but it has an awesome legacy and they're just cool overall. Plus, everyone already has a suburban and he kind of went the opposite route with the MB initially. Just a thought for consideration. That price tag would probably be a deal breaker though...
You should check out the Toyota Land Cruiser. Big and reliable with the 5.7 that has tons of pep. Plus IMO much better looking than the sequoia...

It does, he was always a nice enough guy, but definitely a hot head and had that crazy italian temper...
This is nuts seeing this here, I actually went to high school with the firefighter that got killed. He was a few years older than me. I guess he had just gotten married the day before this happened too...

Indeed, nothing like drunk pizza at the wheel. Too bad bullwinkles closed down, I liked downing some lab rats from there, those things would get you drunk in a hurry...
