We went at the end of July for a couple of days and had a great time. We spent a day at the Biltmore, a few hours at Sierra Nevada. Both really cool places. We stayed at an Airbnb close to wicked weed. It was great location and reasonable price. ...

re: Iguanas in the Keys: How bad?

We were planning a trip to the keys as well and looking at staying at Marathon for this reason. We are planning a fishing trip out of Islamodore. So will be close to there and Key West. Overall, how was your trip? Where did you fly into?...

I probably should have worded my post differently. I'm not implying that cast iron is related to causing Alzheimers. I am going to continue to cook with my cast iron. Just looking to see if cooking with carbon steel or ceramic is a better option over aluminum. More less just came here for...

No, I am not implying that. Alzheimers is more related to genes or a head injury. I was more inquiring about cooking with aluminum and non-stick pans(like Teflon). ...

Healthy Cookware options.

I've been trying to make healthier choices in my life after watching a parent and other family members battle with Alzheimer's. My parents always cooked with Magnolite or cast iron pots growing up. I have pretty much done the same. I'm looking for maybe a healthier stock pot or dutch oven to co...
I'm following this thread for food recommendations as well. On a side question, are you flying into the keys or into Miami and driving? ...
Not sure about the Leeville area, but we have been doing very well at Big Lake. I imagine the specks are there as well. ...

I came here instead of the Travel board since it is related to a guided fishing trip. We are planning on doing a family vacation / son graduation trip in a couple of years. Would be going in May or June of 2026. Just gathering some ideas. Definitely wanting to go Peacock Bass fishing, kill an ig...

My understanding is that if it drops below the 2.75 I'm able to get up to a .50 decrease in interest. They said it will take at least 90 days before we close, because they have so many refinances in. I'm not sure on new loans....

ellesssuuu, I currently have a fixed home equity loan and don't have a current mortgage. The equity loan is at 4.54% and only have about $7,000 left to pay. We are wanting to get another fixed equity loan for around $75,000 to 100,000. Would we be better off getting a home mortgage loan for below...

re: Vegas: Car rental vs. Uber

Posted by cajunrabbit on 2/6/20 at 8:55 am
Lyft or Uber is the way to go. Just came back a few weeks ago. Also, if you do not have a lyft account you can find a promo code pretty easy. This will give you first 4 to 6 rides half off. (Can't remember the exact deal). It cost us around $8 to travel from the Golden nugget to the strip after...

re: Vegas Recommendations

We are going back to Vegas in a couple of weeks. We were debating which show to see out of R.U.N and KA. I have not heard of Absinthe, but looks pretty good. We went last year and saw "O". It was great....
