Certainly there are fans on either side of the "bell curve" when it comes to idiocy, lewdness, or whatever. It's the 80% in the middle that make up the "core" or the essence of the fan base and core Bama fans love this. You know it will be on T-shirts in Tuscaloosa before Mardi Gras.

Got a few calls and texts from Aubies who are euphoric over the LSU win.
Bama fans all say the better team lost, but I just say "9-6". They are all waiting for this weekend for Miss. St. and thinking they are going to hang 50 on the Bullies as punishment for losing to LSU. It would totally MAKE...
