I was at the 1982 game at Legion Field sitting on the 50 yard line sporting a purple and gold striped rugby shirt in a sea of red. We broke an 11 year losing streak at that game. I'm in... I was at the game in Atlanta and it was hard to sit there and watch the implosion!!! I was so disgusted...but saw it coming at the end of the 3rd quarter! Had to sit there and take crap from Clemson fans! ...

I've attended LSU as an undergrad in the mid 70's and graduate student in the mid 80's. I can't remember which decade....but as Mike was parked by the visitor's entrance, the cheerleaders would bang on his cage to try to get him to roar. When he did, the student section would cheer....
