Dr. Charles Allen is the person is vernon parish that does all the registry work. He is a botanist at ft. polk and has a natural vegetation/outdoor bed and breakfast in Cravens. He does a lot of the work and he gets his summer temp staff to be on the look out when in the field. ...

35 bucks a foot skinned, 8ft and up, has been the best price so far this year. the price will probably bump up a bit come september. it always seems to go up about 5 bucks per foot once the gator season gets underway....

I believe the state record is somewhere in the 16 lb range. Ive weighed a few, but the largest was only 13 lbs. You would think some of those bastards are at least 20....

Thanks guys. I guess i should have been more specific. We have internet but not enough bandwith to stream. We have tv's but no cable or local channels etc.
Lot of good suggestions on these lists. Ive seen a few, heard of a few others, and some will be complete surprises.

How close do you live to a body of water. A mink is much more likely to remove just the head of its prey than a skunk.
