I quit cold turkey after 10 years. for me it was more of a habit instead of an addiction.
I had to consciously stop going inside of gas stations or i would buy a pack of cigarettes. Once i stopped buying them quitting was easy....

Worked as a contractor for UPS a while ago. There aint no way in hell I would work for them without being union. Management is awful, work conditions are terrible there as well. Good for the workers!...

All depends on what you want to work. Electrical I was making around 29/hr plus benefits. 40 hour checks sucked. Running the roads and working OT and per diem its very possible to make over 100K/year in the trades. I'm lucky to have found a job at home after 10 years on the construction side of thin...

In our area alone every day there are hundreds playing pickleball morning and night. Just because you don't see it at your park, doesn't mean it isn't happening.
