People, LSU football will continue to be mediocre until something drastic is done with this staff.
So mediocre is 7-1 in the SEC, ranked 12th in the country, and have one loss on the road in the SEC to the team with the Heisman frontrunner at Quarterback. I'm going to say it, yo...
an exercise in utter frustration and bewilderment and life is too short.
The perfect quote from a typical LSU football fan on this message board. You won't be happy unless we win it all every year....

almost losing doesn't mean shitt, exactly why I say LSU fans are the most unsatisfied fan base in America. Its not enough to win a game for you people. The thing is that if we do beat McNeese by 50, some people on this message board will still find something to complain about....

LSU lost to a better team

As hard as it may be to believe for you people, you can't go undefeated every season. LSU has one loss this season. That loss was to a better team, who has the best player in the country playing quarterback, on the road in the SEC, by 7 points. LSU fans are the most unsatisfied fan base in Americ...

The war eagle flies down from the top of Jordan-Hare stadium then takes a dump on Gene Chizik then flies away causing 20000 frat boys from Auburn to cry and pee their pants....
Great idea man. Maybe Nevis can play Quarterback Saturday and Drew Brees can kick and play safety Sunday....

re: LSU Defensive Depth

you can make a list of players, but it doesn't mean its quality depth. And by tired in the Florida game I just remember Nevis was not on the field for a majority of the second half, but it could have been an injury, I'm not sure. All I am trying to say is that Auburn has a potent rushing attack....

The 3 keys to win this football game

Posted by ez1987 on 10/22/10 at 1:54 pm
1) Run for over 130 yards (keeps our defense off the field) 2) Win the turnover and special teams battle (almost lost us the game against Florida) 3) Do not allow big plays (ask Drew Brees about this, its a lot harder to score when you have to go on 13 play drives) ...
In my opinion, the best way to stop ANY option is penetration from your defensive line. Good tackling is also a key to any good defense. LSU just needs to not turn the ball over and not give up big plays. If LSU can make that happen then we win by 2 touchdowns....

LSU Defensive Depth

Posted by ez1987 on 10/22/10 at 1:05 pm
We all know that LSU has an extremely solid defense, but during the Florida game I noticed that the lack depth on the defensive line (due to injuries) seemed to hurt us in the second half. Assuming Auburn will run a no huddle offense, is any one else worried about the lack of depth? ...
