Pretty sure I have read that 30 percent of oil used in The U.S. comes from the gulf....

Could really care less who buys what from where? I am more concerned with the amount of people that would be out of a job if the drilling in the gulf were to stay shut down....

All gas pumps should ask when you swipe your card -"Do you support offshore drilling?" If you press "NO" then the pump should read "THEN YOU CAN WALK!"...

It's funny reading these boards about the oilfield from people who know absolutely nothing about it. A subsea stack is about 55' tall and weighs around 750,000 pounds....
