re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
Somebody educate me on how the Flying Blue website works. I've seen it mentioned as a useful tool in this thread before, but I can't seem to figure it out. All I can find (as far as promo award flights go) are flights out of Europe. The wife and I are looking to book a flight out of Atlanta to A...
Crazy, for the second time within a year a tornado has hit within a mile south of me. Luckily, no damage either time. Edit: To be clear, I sustained no damage. Lots of downed trees south of me.
Did you grow up in Valdosta? I grew up there and still have family there and in Nash...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
Quick question for those that have been through this process before. If I want to downgrade my CSP to a Chase card with no annual fee (either of the Freedom cards) since I got the CSR a few months ago. Is it better to call Chase and downgrade the card, or to cancel it outright and apply for the Free...
just checked tickets, and the majority are already sold, so if anyone is on the fence, I suggest hopping on it soon. Tickets are $35.
Where are you looking for tickets? I checked on Stubhub earlier today and it looked like the cheapest ones were around $45. I'd like to go, but ever...
Ingram is almost useless to you. I wouldn't take that deal unless you believe DHop will have a better ROS than Hilton
Make sense - I haven't lost since Bell and Brady returned so I'm just going to sit tight....

Trade Offer - D. Hopkins and M. Ingram for TY Hilton? - wareagle47
This trade was proposed to me today: Give: TY Hilton Get: Mark Ingram and Deondre Hopkins I really like my team as it is (5-2), so I'm really hesitant to make any changes. This almost seems like a no-brainer to me though. Am I wrong? QB: Tom Brady QB: Matt Ryan RB: Le'Veo...
Korean and Delta are both SkyTeam alliance. That is the only affiliation. Yes you can fly Delta out of Atlanta using Korean Skypass miles. Although I think you may be find more availability on Air France/KLM. I would use the Flying Blue website to search for award availability. Plug in yo...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
What's the best way to search the points needed to redeem a flight for each airline? Do you have to go to the individual websites, or is there somewhere that aggregates them all? Is Korean Air affiliated with Delta? If I booked through Korean Skypass out of Atlanta would it most likely be a Delta...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
Question for you frequent points travelers: I have about 200K Chase UR points...what is the best way to figure out if that can get me to Europe (say Italy or Greece) round trip in first/business class out of Atlanta. Or at least figure out how many additional points I would need to do that? W...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
Anybody have any idea as to when we will be able to upgrade these plastic CSRs to the metal ones? Or will they just send them out whenever they are available? My wife has already complained that she doesn't want to use it over the CSP because the CSP feels fancier :banghead:...
what are the exact steps to transfer I need to do that
Log in to the UR portion of Chase's website, hoover your mouse over your points balance, and at the bottom of the dropdown menu will be an option to "Combine points." From there its pretty easy. ...
I'm going to downgrade my CSP, so I don't lose the points on it. For some reason, they said you can't roll the CSP points to the CSR.
Just following back up on this to let you know that you can absolutely transfer your CSP points to your new CSR card. Just transferred mine on the...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
Makes sense...my original plan all along was to transfer the CSP points to the CSR and then cancel the CSP. Just wanted to make sure Chase would allow that. In order to get the full $600 in travel credit before the $450 you would have to spend $300 in travel sometime between now and this Decembe...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
So basically I still need to keep another Chase card open. Currently, the only Chase card I have is the CSP (with about a 50K points balance), and my plan was to cancel it once I received the CSR. So you are saying in order to not lose the 50K points I have, the best thing to do would be to conve...
I'm going to downgrade my CSP, so I don't lose the points on it. For some reason you can't roll the CSP points to the CSR.
That was going to be my next question. So I can't transfer my current CSP points balance to the CSR? That seems dumb. I thought UR points are UR points and are...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - wareagle47
If I already have a CSP card, is it a no-brainer for me to apply for the CSR card and cancel the CSP? I would hit the sign-up bonus without a problem. The $450 annual fee is effectively only $150 if you spend $300 on travel right? My annual fee for the CSP is also coming in November. Seems like the ...
