Went to Cafe Phoenica last night and it was very good. Can't get tired of good Greek food. Had the Jambalaya place next door to it for lunch today and wasn't as impressed. Pretty run of the mill. Might go back to CP tonight or try VooDooBBQ or one of the Asian places in that shopping strip...

There is zero advantage for you to not have a lease, especially if, like you said, this guy was cool with you breaking the lease with a month's notice. The lease is in place to protect both the landlord AND the tenant. No question....
