I have homeowners and auto with them. Haven't really shopped around with regards to price, so I can't comment there. However, I can say that their customer service is top notch. Have only had to file claims twice.... basically one phone call each time...no hassle at all....

Never had a single problem, nor has my father who has used them for decades. Extremely easy to deal with. I have insurance (homeowners/auto) with them. Dad has got insurance and banking....

Thanks for the info everyone. The specific partnership that I was refering to was with Atlas. Seems like they might be a little less shady, but the previously given advice is well noted.
