Heard today that Julio Jones had surgery for a broken finger and a plate was inserted..While he may play in a week or so, can't imagine he will be the same......

Handoffs from the shotgun seem to stop the momentum of the running back and detract from being able to see the gap or to make adjustments. Also, if the qb is behind the center could he not scan the field with a rollout? Comments?...

I realize it is early, but out of the Rivals top 100 players, LSU is only listed by 7 players in schools being considered. I understand that Coach Johnson wants players that will stay for 4 years and there was only 1 player from the state listed in the top 100, but should i be concerned?...

Consistency - with John Brady, we were up and down and with his players, next year will another example of this in the downward trend. Fans again would not be happy if Brady were the coach. I believe Coach Johnson will bring consistency starting in a year or so....
ESPN Radio -why no mention of yesterday's game??

I have seen several posts recently saying that "ESPN hates LSU". Didn't put too much stock in this..until now. During John Kincaids college basketball update of yesterday's games, no mention of LSU and during the sportscenter update no score given of yesterday's game....

The final four season considering:
1) This team has not won on the road this season
2) Tough games including MSU, TN, Xavier, Ark loom
3)A slide in the next group of games would effectively end this season by Feb 1
4) If they have a tough stretch of games, Coach Johnson runs the risk of losing ...

1) I agree that it is essential that a big man is recruited.
2) This team does not shoot well
3) Even without a center, rebounding is very poor
4) These guys need to have fun! They had no life tonight. I realize the travel was tough from BR because they would have missed their commercial flight ...

Utah beat Gonzaga 66-65. Should be a good road test for our tigers in SLC on Tues. Will anyone be traveling/attending the game....
