re: Watching the Game in Boston? - Valhalla
Baseball tavern is your best bet. There is nothing officially going on with the alumni group, but my guess is that people will show up because it's the default place. I might even ride in from the burbs. ...

re: How does this math work? - Valhalla
The margins at retail on tires are very low. The margins on the service is exteemely high. Manufacturers have not dropped their price with the lower cost of oil and raw materials so retailers are not making money on tires. And the natural rubber comes from Asia moslty. Not sure where you got...

Also, if the Salem Ferry is running, you can take that up to Salem. 45 minutes and Salems is a cool area and the boat ride is great. ...

re: Boston during Easter week. What area to stay, places to visit and dine? - Valhalla
If you want to get off the beaten path, go to East Boston and eat at Renos for great Italian or Santarpios for great pizza. Be prepared to pay cash at a lot of places because many are still old school and cash only. Go to Harvard square and eat a burger at Mr. Bartleys. If you like revolutionary w...

I have no kids, but am married, so not an exact comparison. I made the transition 4 years ago and couldn't be happier. I hated sitting at a desk all day and now travel 3 days a week, but work at home the rest of the time. I rack up tons of hotel points that allow us to take great vacations th...
