This has not been my experience at all. Reddit seems to be much more pro-book, while not necessarily being as anti-show as like this site. But there are plenty of people posting on reddit that didnt like the show so I'm not sure why that one poster would have been banned....

Yeah, I get that it can be hard to believe this type of stuff but you can get clues from reading between the lines on these things and usually its not that out of whack with the end result. For example, there were similar whispers before season 1 that were quite negative and ended up panning out ...

I think its doable with enough money and resources, but most importantly, better creative. Is this disagreement? It is regarded by pretty much everyone that the casting was spot on and the clear strength of the show. Not sure how anyone can even argue that. The show's problems were much more related to plot choices, adaptation choices, and the covid/actor leaving outside stuff....

Also, this is kind of telling in how subjective this stuff can be, but I've heard multiple Witcher fans who have read the books say that season 2 was a disaster and potentially ruined the show.
