Because I'm in New York City and they flip these apartments in a week. I can't justify paying that type of money, nor can I really afford it, when they can just re-rent the place in a week. Small claims cap in NY is $5k and I'm hoping they wont go through the trouble for 5k. ...

I filled out the notice to vacate with a false address. They added a 2,900 vacate fee that they never discussed, when they sent me the invoice. I aint paying them shite....

No lease contract changes are allowed before the initial lease contract ends unless it is by amendment or addendum signed by you and us. Which I am assuming is the notice to vacate amendment where they want two months rent and likely my deposit. ...

I am paying $2,900 a month right now. The lease says you are bound to the terms agreed upon and has no clause for breaking the lease....like most leases with large apartments. So if they keep the deposit (which I think they will) they basically will get $9,000 for me to leave...I am not paying that....

I gave thirty days notice to an apartment that I am planning on breaking the lease. They sent me a Notice to Vacate form, where they want the address I am moving to, two months rent, and they will give me the deposit back (right). I am moving states. Will they likely just turn me into a credit agenc...
