Recruiting experts kept hinting at a potential DT grad transfer in the spring that would instantly boost this position. But not going to count chickens before they hatch. Even without any transfers I believe Davis will make the current guys serviceable....

The only shot, and that’s a long shot, of the loser of that game getting in is if the winner of that game wins the SEC championship game. We win out then that would mean we beat every team in the West and automatically win the West. We wouldn’t have to rely on any team beating anybody and we still control our own destiny. But I’m putting down the crackpipe now because Joe Burrow doesn’t play for LSU anymore ...

There is no word yet on if the extra scholarships for transfers will transfer to next year yet. As of right now it’s just a one time rule for this signing class. Unless the coaches know something we don’t there is no reason not to use all 7, even if we can’t get someone elite at this point. ...
