We saw the Avetts 2 years ago there. Got to the venue about 90 minutes early and tailgated in the south lot. We only had beer and wine, but lots of locals ate grab and go meals. I dont recall anyone cooking. We stayed in Lakewood which was a 15 or 20 min drive....
Interested to know which bouchon you dined in? Absolutely loved comptoir brunet.
https://restaurant-cafedesfederations-lyon.fr/en/ It was recommended by the hotel employees. It was a short walk for us. We got there at 7:30 for the opening and still had to wait 20 minutes for th...

re: Phone use Internationally

We rented a Wi-Fi hot spot from Hippocket. It was $85 for 12 days. My wife and I both could use it without incurring international charges. If you go that route, bring an external battery or two as it only lasts about 4 - 6 hours depending on usage. We always charged it on train rides. ...
It was our 30th anniversary. We started in Paris, went to Bayeux, back to Paris, Lyon and finally Nice. It was amazing. We trained everywhere once we landed in Paris. Our tours we set up on our own or with our travel agent included Louvre 2.5 hr 1 hr sunset Seine cruise, no dinner Ticket up...
I was in the dome for the Saints NFC championship victory over the Vikings. I rode the gondola across the MS river the day it opened, which was the week before the worlds fair opened. My maternal grandfather is first cousins with Edwin Edwards. I didn’t know that until last year and I’m in m...
I remember going into FSU last year, Moscona said we would see AA put up stats in that game as a PR, WR and RB. I guess he was technically 2/3. ...

Would love any cafe or moderately priced recommendations in Bayeux. We are there for 3 nights next month. Staying at Hotel d’Argouges. Have full day tours planned for Normandy Beach D-Day and Mont St Michel...
A little different turn on land lines: In the 80s, we had 5 of us within 4 years as it was a second marriage for both parents. We had two phone lines in the house and one was listed as “children’s telephone” in the white pages. We still used our parent’s line as our line was often being used. ...
Makes me wonder what Rob Reiner (Meathead) is up to.
I’m listening to a JFK conspiracy podcast hosted by Reiner and Soledad O’Brien. It’s odd hearing him questioning the government, the CIA, and the FBI when trusting the government seems to be the liberal way. ...

Anyone get the shingles vax?

Is that one approved by the OT? I hear that it's miserable if you get shingles. Is the vax bad?...
Le Krewe D’etat is the most entertaining and my #1 overall Thoth and Iris are both great krewes and make it fun for the viewers. C Orpheus has the best floats. ...
So many more go to LSU and Alabama now that these small liberal arts schools have become so pricey. You don’t stay rich spending ridiculous amounts of money on that. Ole Miss always got their share. ...

Appreciate the tips. Very helpful I read a Reddit thread about EZ Go vs Club Car v Yamaha. One guy summed it up this way - Club Car = Lexus; EZ Go = Honda; Yamaha = Land Rover...

Golf cart buying tips

Posted by Count deMonet on 2/13/24 at 10:34 am
Looking for a moderately priced used golf cart for nothing more than driving around the neighborhood to visit friends. Have a garage which would accommodate it, since mine is too damn small for cars. Don’t want some tricked out lifted thing. I only play 2-3 rounds of golf a year and the loca...

Or earbuds. Only person in his row and he is listening to a soap opera type show in Spanish. He also tried to squeeze into comfort plus (I’m in economy with the rest of the poor). I think he farted too. At least we are about to land. ...
