Buying Led Zeppelin live vinyl bootlegs ! This was before the internet was big, and each purchase was a gamble. No way to really research. Some had great covers, but the sound was subpar.
The good ones more than made up for the bad ones.

I've got an inexpensive Ibanez bass as well (SGR200) and it is a great bass to learn on.
Mainly use it to record bass lines to play over when recording....

All my stuff is pretty cheap...my most expensive piece is Gibson Studio Faded T - got it for $500 used.
It's a great guitar, but the guitar I grab to play the most is a $100 Indio OS30 (the white one). Once it got a good setup, it plays like butter. (These ...

RIP Brit. Great drummer. I got to meet him once and he was very nice and down to earth.
If your not familiar with their music I would highly recommend, and they put on really good live show.

Just finished this biography and if your a Sabbath fan you will certainly enjoy this. I've read Ozzy's book (I Am Ozzy), and Tony Iommi's book (Iron Man), and while they were pretty good, this one is great !
