it is certainly a tragic day for tech. most all universities deal with this at some point. from what i remember, tech have actually been relatively fortunate in this regard. ironicaly, his best performance was probably against lsu in the 2009 game. first and second string backs hobbled or out ...
he is absolutely fearless across the middle, knows he is going to get rocked and rarely drops the ball, even after violent contact. and you never hear a peep out of the guy either, if he catches 1 or 10 balls in a game, no prima donna at all. ...
as a latech alum and fan, i am obviously thrilled with beating any sec school at their place, no matter how bad they are. and the "how would tech do in the sec debate" i read about on this thread got me thinking just how unusually unbalanced the sec is this year. bama and lsu are great, but after ...

ok, i'll play...i am a 42 y/o tech grad and fan, but i only became a tech fan when i went to college there. as a boy, all i knew was cholly mac, charles alexander, and john ferguson. i don't hate lsu now, just relatively ambivalent. i would guess if tech and lsu played on a neutral field next wee...
