My mother would slap your arse back to last year.
But we've seen this many times. The teams who run this style of offense can't stop good offenses with their defense. Your left to win shootouts like you did with Bama. And teams that have go...

Well, your BCS title is yours. But the sports world still recognizes the AP poll no. 1 as a champion. As a hater of all things Tech, I personally do not consider them a 1990 national champ, but the sports world does so I had to include them. ...

Numerous things over the years were thought to "level the playing field"(scholarship restrictions, the portal, NIL, 12 team playoff, etc) but the top 10 contains pretty much the same teams every year. But to your point, even though the odds favor the top teams (obviously), I fear that soone...
I agreed with you, I just think it's wild that the 2019 roster was preseason 6 . Especially looking back at how much nfl talent was on the roster.
Same for Bama in 2019
That game had some real nfl talent that has even turned it up a notch in the nfl. Not many busts ,especially offensively...

Lsu was 6 in 2019 but that roster was as good as any that's ever been assembled . I don't think that can be argued. They were ranked 6 because they didn't forsee the offensive change stylistically.
No one was trying to say LSU wasn't talented in 2019.

If NIL and the transfer portal stays the same, it will just mean an increased amount of parity for fewer teams. Teams will have to “rebuild” not “reload”. Let’s put it this way. Put Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa in 2007 with the transfer portal and NIL rules and he doesn’t win 6 National Titles ...

Reality. No one really cares. Maybe CC will make WNBA as big as women's tennis.
But as of right now, (which is different from MLB, NFL and NBA), what she did in college was a bigger deal than anything she does as a professional.
A women's college basketball national championship is a bigger ...

I'm using the top 12 of the AP preseason poll and the top 12 of the committee's rankings. Two different rankings I know, but it's the system we have and it doesn't make much sense to use the AP's Champ. week rankings as they are meaningless by that point.
The purpose is to see how often teams wh...
