Been going to Dauphin Island the last 10 years for the same reasons. Low key, no crowds and plenty of space to fish etc......

I've been doing mostly inshore lately so wanted to change it up with a near shore trip. I don't really enjoy the offshore trips anymore unless it's a big boat. Too much riding and getting bounced around. Hanging around an extra day on Okaloosa Island for a day of surf casting, drinking and such....
