Gameday Guide
Posted by InYourHead on 9/18/14 at 11:42 am
So I posted on here a while back about attending the Miss State game. Y'all had a ton of great suggestions on where to park (law school), where to eat (anywhere), and what to see (the band marching into the stadium).
You also mentioned some sort of a gameday guide with times for all of the specia...
Parking and GameDay Guide for Miss State
Posted by InYourHead on 9/11/14 at 8:59 am
Hey Guys,
I posted back on my original thread but for some reason it did not bump to the front, so it's stuck back on page 90-something. I am so excited that kickoff for the Miss State game was announced as a night game. I plan to be in Baton Rouge all day taking in the whole gameday atmosphere.

I'm back! And so excited that kickoff was announced for a night game. I'm sure I will have a ton more questions as the week goes by, but I'm wondering what time I need to get to Baton Rouge in order to find a parking spot in that free lot? And is that in walking distance of the bars, tailgating, sta...

Good suggestion to be in Baton Rouge for the Bama game. Just tailgating and watching in a local bar will probably be worth it. Thanks for all the tips, y'all! ...

Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone.
I actually just moved to New Orleans for work, so I should be able to make a day trip out of it (unless your reputation lives up to the hype and the tailgating gets the best of me). As awesome as New Orleans is, one of my first thoughts when I found out ...
How did you become an LSU fan?
Yea, like someone said above, not an LSU fan (though I guess I'll be rooting for y'all on Sept 20!). I just enjoy good football, packed stadiums, and a fun atmosphere. I've been to a lot of great stadiums in some fun college towns (mostly in the SEC),...

Thanks for the quick replies!
I am a UNC grad and huge fan (although I also just enjoy college sports in general). I figure it's safe to say that on these forums, we're not much of a threat to y'all in football. Although I am still bitter about the missed opportunities in our 2010 Chick-fil-A Ki...
My First LSU Game!
Posted by InYourHead on 8/9/14 at 10:22 pm
Hi Everyone,
I just recently bought tickets to my first LSU game and I could not be more excited. Going to a game down in Death Valley (with the best midfield logo I have ever seen!) has always been on my sports fan bucket list. I'll be going to the Miss State game on Sept 20.
I wanted to come...
