Pick your own sunflowers

Sharing again this year about our Sunflowers for St. Jude fundraiser. It’s in Kaplan, Louisiana.

All donation based — 100% of donations go to St. Jude.

If you have Facebook (yeah I know but it’s been great for this) the page name is Sunflowers for St. Jude!!! .. don’t leave off the !!!

Some have expressed interest in prior years so I figured I’d share again this year!!
If I died my husband would be fine .. if he dies first, well I know who to go to and have “some” more than basic understanding of the investments.

My husband is a farmer .. one day years ago I realized that should he die prior to harvest and a crop was in the field .. what would I do. He told me all the farmers around here would do what was needed to get the crop finished. AlI need to know on the financial side of the farm is the bank he works with and the FSA office.

re: Colorado trip in mid July recs.

I’d agree. I was newly pregnant and slept so much of it but what I saw was fantastic. My husband loved it. Silverto. Was a cool little town as well.

We took the bus up and the train down.
I wish we had more time to copy your blog .. we’ll be in Paris for three nights, Rome for four and Sorrento for two. I’m expecting that we’ll love Sorrento the most.
We only have 2 nights there — a full day and a half unfortunately. It’s at the end of our trip.

Thanks!
Anyone done a boat trip from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi?? Traveling with my adult daughter in July (I fear we may melt) ... Sorrento is our last stop and she's requested a boat trip to these 2 spots that ALSO offers time to swim off of the boat.

Does anyone here have any recs? There are so many online but I'd love recs from people who've done it.

ALSO: does anyone here NOT use only a carryon and personal item??
Idk but an adult male died in Lafayette after a crash with a car last week .. not sure if the situation and what happened but ooor fella is dead.

“ As a mother of two children, I’ve experienced the miracle of life and will always support protecting the life of the unborn. I strongly oppose the use of taxpayer dollars to fund abortion, voting to defund Planned Parenthood and using my role on the Appropriations Committee to stop it. My pro-life position is unwavering, and I've received 100% rating from the Susan B. Anthony List for my work to defend the unborn in Congress.”

That’s from her website. So she’s prolife .. and doesn’t want taxpayer funded abortions .. and voted to defund PP .. sounds prolife.

Btw, I voted Fleming.

We parked here .. contact Julie Davis — bottom left side — about parking. It was maybe $30/40?? Was walkable to grove and stadium.

I’m not sure how early they start selling passes but you can get info now I’m guessing.

Here’s another place walkable that we’ve parked that has gameday parking. Game day parking option in Oxford

I’d choose Batesville over Southaven I think. Southaven has sketchy areas. You could also try Olive Branch.

The closer you are the more dollars you better have. It’s insane if staying in Oxford.

Also — depending on game time, if you’re planing to go back to Memphis, the Germantown area is good.
Probably 3 years ago it was $16000 for us .. house is almost 2400 sq ft and the pool house is probably 500 or so sq ft.

I can’t remember how many squares of shingles they had to use. Also not sure if the pitch but it’s not flat by any means.
Imagine the surprise if their families.

Glad they were eventually caught.
Yes. My cat had a blocked urethra and had crystals .. surgery to remove the blockage and changing his food cured him.

That was in 2015 when he was 5 or 6 and he’s still here, mostly problem free. (He pulls his fur out seasonally but it’s either due to pain or allergies and at his age we just give him a form of prednisone which seems to somewhat help)
Can I ask what type of grain? We mostly have rice in this area and when I’ve asked about the possibility of this, I’ve been told that it wouldn’t happen with rice due to the way it stacks/packs??

Prayers for the friends and family of your friend. May he rest in peace.

Edit: I’m sorry — I now see soybeans. Beans here are typically put straight into trucks to haul to the ports/wherever from the combine.
We’ve got blue cross blue shield of Louisiana.

56 male
56 female
25 year old that we just never dropped (has a great policy through employer — we’re just dumb)

Anyway. Male and female each take like 2 prescriptions .. our premium for a $5600 ded is like 1400 per month.

In.
Sane.

Edit to say it’s a grandfathered in policy so we (so we’re told) don’t fall under Obamacare but if we make any changes (other than dropping our kid) we become subject to Obamacare rules and I’m assuming premiums. I’m too afraid to change anything to find out.

I will say .. we’ve met our ded over the years maybe three or four times and we’ve never had any issues with them covering after that or after our total oop was met.

Does not incident dental/vision.
