Thanks all

We had the Ruben and the Cuban. Both really good but eating them leisurely with a bottle of wine from the retail shelf with carrot cake and lemon doberge for dessert made it a top tier lunch experience.

I used Wildrose Kennels in Oxford MS for my precious British yellow lab. Very professional place but I remember there was a pretty long waiting list.

re: Sunday LUNCH in Nola. Looking for ideas

I’m in BR so I’m in Nola frequently and I think I’ve been almost everywhere. I usually avoid the FQ but this time I am staying at the Monteleone on a Saturday night for a wedding. so my initial thought was to do a traditional Sunday brunch in the FQ something like BRENNANS. Someone in my party said they would rather keep it more local like Uptown or mid city. not really looking for any certain type of food but more atmosphere and want to keep it fairly upscale but not Commander’s level. I like glass’s rec for Patois. Lola’s too.

Sunday LUNCH in Nola. Looking for ideas

I'll be in Nola in a few weeks and need a good/cool place for LUNCH. I don't care if they offer brunch as well but I'm not a big brunch fan. I feel like the B team kitchen are the ones working Sunday's, therefore...brunch. I got a table for Achafalaya but I've done that so many times already I'd like to try something different. No disrespect because they are very good.

I am open to ideas or inspiration.....Thank you food board...

After a long day of wine, time to change pace with some sagamore 6 Rye Summer Pine. Hate to see it go.

There have been several new ones and old ones moving around and I can’t keep track anymore. My frame of reference for comparison is Central Texas barbecue
