He must have kicked his poor dog so hard the day he got passed over for the USMNT job.

Didn’t even go to Istanbul?

Antonio Freeman’s son and Weston McKennie are two examples of this though.

One of the best halves of US soccer we’ve had.
The first half in 2002 against Portugal was unforgettable but had an element of flakiness. This doesn’t.

I won two six-packs of beer from golf. I don’t know these beers at all; the one I picked is from some brewery in Texas called Three Nations Brewing.

I like the starting line up.

A lot of college athletes will soon realize their days of maximum leverage are over. Unless we start having players with unlimited eligibility playing as 18th year players as 36 year olds

Which category of seats was it? 1, 2, 3, or 4?

This is why Baton Rouge had a billboard with a hometown player as in 2022, when he was on the roster.
I believe it was a Coke campaign.

But it won’t be litigated until February 2027, which is meaningless for a player with no eligibility after January 2027 to begin with.

The initial statement from the judge was so simple and dumb.
Punishments cause harm to the person being punished. Well yeah, that’s the point. Otherwise no one should be punished for anything  Or at best, people would only ever be fined for anything.
The question is not whether the punishment causes harm but whether the punishment fits the action that has occurred.
The vast majority of the public doesn’t agree with Texas Tech or the judge.

This could then get appealed to the Texas Supreme Court, right?
I figure the NCAA will try to fight this to the very top.

Venue shopping is very obvious. However, the NCAA can appeal this, right?
I believe it would go to an appellate court that isn’t literally a few miles from the Texas Texh campus.
I think the NCAA is much more likely to go after this that the Chambliss decision.
I don’t remember the details about the Alabama center who came back after playing pro basketball and was then ruled ineligible for good a few days later, but I think that’s how that went down as well.

re: Former Bull and current Bulls announcer, Stacy King has died

Michaela Shiffrin’s dad was a doctor and died the same way. I think he was trying to fix something on his roof.
I wouldn’t be surprised if King was doing something similar.
Honestly, Shiffrin’s dad’s accident is more surprising since Stacy King was a big guy.
ETA: I believe DeMaryius Thomas fell and hit his head while having a seizure in the shower, and that led to his death. This one is obviously more complicated than the other example.

I think uptalk is also known as vocal fry, and it was really popularized by Paris Hilton and then the Kardashians over the past 15-20 years.
“Like”, “literally”, and “Oh my god” are all part of the Valley Girl trend that started about 40 years ago but have gotten more exaggerated over time.

My understanding is they gave up something like 20 percent of their TV and internet rights to a private equity group so they will have less to work with, but they got out of the short-term woes.
I’m not exactly sure what the private equity group can do with that stake in multimedia rights.

Deniz Undav said he should be good to go for the World Cup.
Do you guys think Deniz could be a starter? He clearly had a great game yesterday.
