There is nothing pop rock about Runnin With The Devil, Unchained, Mean Street, Light Up The Sky, Ain't Talkin Bout Love....I could go on and on. I still liked VH with Sammy but they sounded just like any other rock band with him as front man. DLR brought an attitude and energy that just fit with EVH's insane guitar licks.

No. Just no. The classic VH lineup was better by a wide margin and ruled rock music in the late 70's thru the mid 80's. Sammy has more range as a singer and was a good performer in his own right but VH became a sappy ballad and bubble gum pop band when Roth left.

I have drank enough beer in my life to float a barge. But not once have I ever drank a Schlitz. Always considered it to be a bottom of the barrel brand. Seems like it was favored by blacks and gutter alcoholics.
