I saw this yesterday and found it interesting.
Troy is the last town I pass through before getting to my camp. I’m pulling for them too.
It’s also home to Wisdom, a 75+ year old Albatross…

quote:

Wisdom (officially designated #Z333) is a wild female Laysan albatross, the oldest confirmed wild bird in the world and the oldest banded bird in the world.[2] First tagged in 1956 at Midway Atoll by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), she was still incubating eggs as late as 2025 and has received international media coverage in her lifetime. She was spotted alive and apparently healthy as recently as November 2025.

Cool, now I’ll only finish my spillway trips 5 short of a limit.
Having On the Red River and Heaven Passing Through on the same album shows how unbelievable Felker is as a song writer.
I’ve had some McKenna 10s that were some of the best bourbons I’ve had, and I’ve had some that were more mediocre. There’s definitely a range, but the good ones punch way above their weight class imo.

I want to try for Wyoming next. Drew elk/deer combo Montana this year and found a nice piece of private land surrounded by public. Looking forward to it as a first elk trip.

I sat right behind you. I did the Dark Arts flight and a Nulu flight.

EH Taylor Single Barrel in the home bar now
I had a bunch of laying hens and built a couple tractors to start raising meat birds. Got pissed off one evening and gave away all my animals before I even bought my meat birds. One day when I slow down I’ll start raising meat chickens and maybe even quail.

I drew rifle. I’ll be going out to Roaming Shot a few more times to work on my distance.

Waddill has an archery range and a 3-D archery course back in the woods that would help train you for hiking too. I’d probably lose all my arrows back there.

I sold my boat last year. First time in 33 years that I've been boatless.

Same for me. I had one from sophomore year at LSU at 18 to 39. Then I went and had another kid at 40…
These big arena shows have jumped the shark. Too many. Too expensive. Sound quality is poor.

Good bang for your buck bottle here. 117.76 proof. $40.

I just saw the pile of horns next to the axis. Looks like someone smoked a few

Our whitetail are lucky to break 100” and 100lbs. But I did see an elk last year and shot a sika too.
Great post. I’m hungry for updates and commits, but am patient and confident Wade has a plan and will get it done.

It’s wild that we’re recruiting 25 year olds who have been playing professional ball for 6+ years. Crazy times!

Yall have a lot of blackbuck? They showed up thick this year in Edwards Co.

I’ve pretty much been skull mounting everything lately. Easier to find a spot for them.
