Alabama's Board of Trustees voted Thursday afternoon to build a new $30 million baseball stadium for the 2015 season. It's being tabbed as a renovation of Sewell-Thomas Stadium, however every part of the existing structure will be replaced minus the ongoing construction of the adjoining Sarah Patterson Champions Plaza along the right-field wall. In the meantime the team will try play around the construction next season, otherwise, the school has numerous alternatives for home games, although according to Mike Lanier, project manager for UA construction projects, there’s no set Plan B yet. Lanier said.

I doubt most of us give a shite about a new baseball stadium. We just don't get into it like others do.
