Tennessee football Jalen Reeves-Maybin was wounded in the arm from a gunshot early sunday morning. Per TheLeafChronicle.com,

Reeves-Maybin said he was standing in the street near Lavender Circle when someone fired shots and he felt a sharp pain in his arm. He and his friends got in a car and left the scene.

Tennessee coach Butch Jones told the Knoxville News Sentinel on Monday that Reeves-Maybin was already back at UT and was not seriously injured.

“It was just an abrasion. He didn’t even need stitches,” Jones said. “He got shot by a random bullet. It just basically grazed his arm.”
Reeves-Marbin was a special teams standout for the Vols last fall in his freshman season.
