During South Carolina's Media Day on Sunday, head coach Steve Spurrier took a shot at the Big Ten Conference by comparing East Carolina, who the Gamecocks face this season to “bottom tier Big Ten teams.”

I get it and may agree with Spurrier on some level. But at some point does Spurrier not come across to most reasonable people as a bitter old man?
