Talented Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche suffered a concussion while playing offense during a rushing attempt in last Saturday's loss to Memphis.

Despite the injury, Nkemdiche told coach Hugh Freeze that he wants to keeping playing on offense. Per USAToday.com:

“He came to see me (Monday) morning to make sure I wasn’t thinking of keeping him from doing that,” Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze said. “That is just the competitor in him for sure.”

Freeze said he was still debating whether to continue using Nkemdiche on offense, where he has rushed four times for two scores and caught a 31-yard touchdown, and that his star player was still going through the concussion protocol.
