Ole Miss Hugh Freeze announced that offensive guard Aaron Morris will miss the Rebels Bowl game with a torn ACL.

The junior from Jackson, Miss suffered the injury before the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State, but because it was not a complete tear, he decided to try to play through it. Per Clarionledger.com:

"Typically the second time is a bit longer," Freeze said. "That's why we went ahead ... have him back for fall camp."

Freeze said based on the calendar Morris should be back for August and the start of training camp, but also said he's never certain with the recovery time of an ACL injury. Morris used his redshirt season in 2013.

Freshman Rod Taylor will start at right guard for No. 9 Ole Miss (9-3) against No. 5 TCU (11-1), with Justin Bell moving to left guard.
